BIOGRAPHY

Kaan Bitirim holds degrees from Bilkent University in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.), TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Micro and Nanotechnology (M.S.), Hacettepe University in Economics (M.A.), and Hacettepe University in Economics and Energy Law (LL.M.). Prior to joining the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bilkent University, he served as the Integrated Management Systems Unit Manager and Energy Manager at the Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory, which hosts Turkey’s first and only superconducting electron accelerator.

Kaan Bitirim is interested in managerial and technical fields such as management systems, strategic planning, process development and management, energy and energy supply security, internal auditing, sustainability, economics and energy law, radiation and radiation safety, occupational safety, and environmental management.
